Gary Wiseman, Ph.D.
President & CEOGary Wiseman comes to XeroCoat with diverse experience in product development, operations, marketing and general management at global multinational companies and startups. Most recently, he was General Manager of Intel’s Optical Platform Division, a leading supplier of high-speed optical components divested to Emcore in 2008. Prior to Intel, Gary was VP Marketing at LightLogic, a startup company funded by major silicon valley VCs and acquired by Intel in 2001 for $420M.
His early career was spent at Raychem where he invented and commercialized a novel high-performance ceramic product line used for overvoltage protection of high voltage electric power systems. During his 14 years at Raychem, he was also General Manager of Raychem’s Display Products Group and Marketing Director of the Circuit Protection Division.
Gary has a BA in Chemistry from Northwestern, a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from MIT where he studied organo-silicon pre-ceramic polymers, and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne Switzerland.
